Begin your trip in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, where you’ll visit the sacred Tsomgo Lake, historic Baba Mandir, and the high-altitude Nathula Pass on the Indo-China border. Then, descend to the charming hill town of Darjeeling, known for its world-famous tea estates, toy train rides, and majestic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. This tour is ideal for couples, families, and small groups looking to discover the best of Sikkim and North Bengal in a compact, well-planned journey.


Itinerary


Day 1 : Arrival at Gangtok – Welcome to Sikkim

Altitude: 1,650 m / 5,410 ft
Travel time: 4.5 – 5.5 hours from NJP/Bagdogra
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative. Begin your scenic uphill drive along the Teesta River to Gangtok, Sikkim’s charming capital city.

Day 2 : Excursion to Changu Lake – Baba Mandir – Nathula Pass (Optional)

Altitude: 3,753 m / 12,313 ft (Lake); 4,310 m / 14,140 ft (Nathula)
Distance: 55 km one way | Duration: 2 hours (one way)

After breakfast, embark on an unforgettable high-altitude excursion. Today’s itinerary includes:
Changu Lake – A mystical glacial lake set amidst snow-covered mountains, revered by locals and believed to change colors with seasons.
Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – A spiritual and military shrine dedicated to a martyred soldier whose presence is still felt in the region.

Optional Add-On:
Nathula Pass – Once part of the ancient Silk Route, this Indo-China border crossing is an adventurous high point of the tour. (Subject to permit availability; closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.)
Return to Gangtok by afternoon. Evening free for leisure.

Day 3 : Gangtok Half-Day Sightseeing – Transfer to Darjeeling

Distance: 98 km | Duration: 4 hours

After breakfast, explore some of Gangtok’s local attractions before heading to Darjeeling. Sightseeing includes:
Bakthang Waterfall – A scenic waterfall just outside the city.
Tashi Viewpoint – Famous for views of Mt. Kanchenjunga on a clear day.
Ganesh Tok / Hanuman Tok – Peaceful hilltop temples with panoramic views.
Deorali Chorten
Later, check out and proceed on a beautiful drive to Darjeeling, passing through dense forests and tea gardens. Upon arrival, check-in and relax.

Day 4 : Darjeeling Sightseeing – Sunrise, Tea & Monasteries

Altitude: 2,042 m / 6,700 ft

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill (subject to weather). Continue with:
Ghoom Monastery – One of the oldest Tibetan monasteries in the region.
Batasia Loop – A spiral railway track with panoramic views and a war memorial.
Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Station – A UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute – Established by Tenzing Norgay.
Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park – Famous for red pandas and snow leopards.
Tea Garden Visit – Experience Darjeeling's famous tea estates and take photos in traditional attire (optional).
Evening free for shopping at Chowrasta or enjoying a cup of fresh Darjeeling tea at a colonial-style café.

Day 5 : Departure – Farewell to the Himalayas

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. Carry home memories of serene lakes, snow-capped peaks, lush tea gardens, and Himalayan culture.

Terms and Conditions


1. Pricing varies based on group size.
2. Hotels are subject to availability
3. Kids below 5 years are free of charge, Kids aged between 5 to 11 years will be charged at 50% and Kids above 12 years will be charged as an adult.
4. TRANSPORT: Wagon R/ Swift Dzire for maximum 3 PAX. Innova/Similar for 4 to 6 Pax.
5. A 40% advance is required to confirm booking; the balance is due before the tour.
6. Payments accepted via bank transfer, cash, GPay, or UPI.
7. The tour will follow the confirmed itinerary once it begin

Cancellation & Refund Policy


If you need to cancel tour/travel services for any reason, written notification must be provided. Cancellation charges are as follows:
• 30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
• 20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
• 14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
• 10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
• 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
